Anchor and Hope is seeking a Shift Manager. The ideal candidate is dedicated to a career in the restaurant industry, and has a desire for growth and development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to develop management skills with one of the most successful, long standing restaurant groups in the city. We are looking for someone who communicates genuinely in a fast paced environment, is fluent in the proper steps of service, and has the experience to lead by example. This could include a professional server looking to advance their career, while still maintaining their server shifts elsewhere. We are looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, and creating excellent guest experiences. Prior experience with Open Table and Aloha POS system is a plus.

Established in 2008 by Town Hall and Salt House owners Doug Washington and brothers Mitchell and Steven Rosenthal, Anchor and Hope has been an integral part of the ever-evolving South of Market district for over a decade. We are located in a renovated 100 year old brick building, formerly the art studio of sculptor Benny Bufano. Anchor & Hope offers the warmth of an Eastern Seaboard fish house with dishes such as warm sea urchin served in the shell, our lobster roll, and petrale sole…. And yes, there are dishes for those who fear the sea! Our international wine list and hand-crafted beer selection is curated by award-winning Sommelier Haley Guild Moore.
